Yemen will participate in the 72nd session of the GCC Health Ministers' conference, starting its deliberations in Muscat on Wednesday. In a statement prior to his departure for the Omani capital, Yemen's Public Health and Population Minister Dr. Ahmed Qassim Al-Ansi, who heads his country's delegation to the two-day meeting of the Health Minister of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, said the session will focus on discussions of a number of health issues, most important among them non-communicable diseases and the health treatment of Yemeni expatriates residing in the GCC states as well as other medical issues.
