DHAHRAN — US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and his accompanying delegation, accompanied by Saudi Minister of Energy prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, visited Saudi Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran as part of his official visit to Saudi Arabia. Upon their arrival, they were received by Aramco's President and CEO, Eng. Amin Al-Nasser, and a number of senior officials. Wright was briefed on Aramco's innovation efforts through visits to the EXPEC Center, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center, and the Accelerated Innovation Lab. He also heard presentations on the company's role in enhancing the security and efficiency of global energy supplies. Aramco's role in enhancing the security and efficiency of global energy supplies was also reviewed. During their meeting, a field visit was conducted to the Shaybah field in the Empty Quarter, where both parties listened to a presentation on the production and administrative facilities. The visit concluded with a tour of the Shaybah Reserve Visitor Center, as part of Aramco's environmental initiatives.
