Saudi Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie arrived in Sana'a today, to participate in the 66th Session of the Council of Health Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s member states. In a statement upon his arrival, Dr. Al-Manie said that this session will discuss a number of issues of concern to health ministers of the GCC's member states, especially the spread of certain diseases which may move across the border such as Malaria, in addition to the diseases of heart and diabetes, which witnessed increased rates recently among the populations of the GCC's countries. Dr. Al-Manie valued the deep-rooted close cooperation between the Saudi-Yemeni Health ministries in various fields. At Sana'a Int'l airport, he was welcomed by his Yemeni counterpart Dr. Abdul Karim Yahya and a number of officials.
