At least two people were killed and a number of others injured today in renewed violence and targeted assassinations in the city of Karachi, the capital of Pakistan's Sindh province. Meanwhile, the security forces arrested 12 people in the framework of the operations being waged against the armed gangs in the city. The security sources said that among the detainees were three snipers involved in the targeted assassination of members of warring parties on an ethnic basis in the city.
