Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are set to hold an extraordinary meeting in Riyadh on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, who is also the rotatory chairman of the GCC ministerial council. Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani will also take part in the meeting. During the meeting, the GCC foreign ministers will discuss the outcome of the recent visit to Sanaa of Al-Zayani as regards the GCC initiative to defuse tensions in Yemen.
