Awwal 01, 1432, Feb 04, 2011, SPA -- Dr. Bander Al-Abian, President of the Human Rights Commission, has received U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom's delegation led by Leonard Leo. During the meeting, several topics were reviewed. Dr. Bander Al-Abian stressed the religious firm principles of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that cannot be compromised. Dr. Bander Al-Abian stated that the teachings of Islam welcome constructive dialogue referring to the call by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for dialogue among followers of religions, civilizations and cultures which constitute a message to the whole world on the necessity of peaceful coexistence between the peoples of the world and promotion of the culture of dialogue. Dr. Bander Al-Abian quoted Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as saying on the dialogue: "Let our dialogue be supportive for faith in the face of atheism, for virtue in the face of vice, for justice in the face of injustice, for peace in the face of conflicts and wars and for human brotherhood in the face of racism." The delegation expressed satisfaction for visiting the Kingdom and for the transparency which they found. The delegation discussed a number of issues concerning the work of the Human Rights Commission and its activities in the protection and promotion of human rights guaranteed by the laws of the Kingdom.
