Dr Bandar Al-Eiban, President of the Commission of Human Rights of Saudi Arabia currently leading the Saudi delegation to the tenth session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, has received here UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay. During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of common interest to both sides. The High Commissioner expressed her admiration with the development and reform process adopted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, also expressing her support for the initiative for dialogue between the followers of religions, civilizations and different cultures and emphasizing her support for this trend. The High Commissioner also praised the contribution of the Kingdom of an amount of $150,000 for the work and objectives of Durban Review World Conference against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance to be held in Durban, South Africa during the month of April.
