The President of Saudi Human Rights Commission, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban received here today a group of assistants and advisors to US Congressmen currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest. Dr. Al-Aiban highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries, and addressed the Kingdom's efforts in promoting and protecting human rights through regulations applied in the Kingdom at all levels. He also hailed the King's approval of a strategy for disseminating human rights culture. The Congress delegation addressed the international initiatives launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, including the Arab peace initiative as well as the initiative of dialogue among civilizations and religions. The Congress delegation hailed the decisions issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain and protect human rights.
