The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, January 17, 2011 corresponding to Safar 13, 1432H, a statement issued by the Royal court said here today. The statement urged Muslims throughout the Kingdom to take part in the prayers, usually performed early morning in pursuant of Prophet" Sunnah (Traditions) during drought or delay in rain-fall.
