The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, January 11, 2010 corresponding to Muharram 25, 1431H, a statement issued by the Royal court said here today. The statement urged Muslims throughout the Kingdom to take part in the prayers, usually performed early morning in pursuit of Prophet" Sunnah (Traditions) during drought or delay in rain-fall.
