Saudi students pray for rain in Riyadh, Monday morning. King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, called for Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers. A Royal Court statement urged Muslims throughout the Kingdom to take part in the prayers, usually performed early in the morning in pursuit of the Prophet's Sunnah (Traditions), during drought or a delay in rainfall.
