Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Calls for Istisqa (Rain-Seeking) Prayer on Monday

Qa'dah 29, 1431 / Nov. 06, 2010, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, November 08, 2010 corresponding to Dhu Al-Hijjah 02, 1431H, a statement issued by the Royal court said here today.
The statement urged Muslims throughout the Kingdom to take part in the prayer, usually performed early morning in pursuit of Prophet's Sunnah (Traditions) during drought or delay in rain-fall.
