Yemen and Jordan discussed here on Saturday the work progress of projects supervised by the Jordanian National Electric Power Company (NEPCO). Public Electricity Corporation (PEC) General Director and the NEPCO General Manager Ghaleb Maabreh talked about cooperation issues between the two sides in electricity area. The two officials' meeting dealt with the possibility of benefiting from the Jordanian experiences in the administrative, financial and technical aspects in order to prop up the PEC in Yemen, according to a report of Yemen's news agency "SABA." The PEC director valued the Jordanian efforts to support Yemen development capabilities in Yemen, including energy fields. The PEC intends to raise the level of performance in the administrative and financial sides in the coming year, he said.
