A delegation from Jordan's National Electric Power Company, NEPCO, led by the company's Director Ghaleb Maabreh arrived Friday on a Yemen visit. Head of the Public Electricity Corporation Khalid Abdul Mawla said the visit aims to find ways of expanding the cooperation between the corporation and the company. On the visit, the two bodies will hold their coordination meeting to discuss the progress in the implementation of projects being followed up by the Jordanian Company as a consultant, Yemen's news agency "SABA" reported. Moreover, the meeting will discuss the establishment of a communication and coordination mechanism and the topic of the Jordanian Company as an advisor body for big projects by the corporation including expanding Marib gas-fired power plant, Marib 2. Yemen will also ask the company to send financial and administrative experts to help improve the corporation's performance, said Abdul Mawla.
