Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz Al-Ghadir today vowed in a press conference that his country would continue assisting the people of Pakistan until the flood crisis effects were over, noting that the two countries were bound with close fraternal relations since the independence of Pakistan. He said the assistance and efforts currently exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi people for flood-stricken areas in Pakistan were the result of directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, confirming that no limits to providing assistance to the needy in Pakistan until the disaster is over. He disclosed that the number of Saudi relief team currently operating in Pakistan amounted to 500, providing all kinds of assistance to the flood-hit people and areas. For his part, Brig. General Dr. Saud Al-Omani, Supervisor General of the two mobile hospitals, said the first field hospital's capacity amounted to 200 bedts with more than 150 personnel working in it while the second one was equipped with similar appliances and specializations.
