An eight-member Saudi medical team, led by Dr. Tareq Al-Arnoos, Director General of Emergency and Field Medicine Committee, an affiliate of the Ministry of Health, arrived in Islamabad today to conduct a field survey to select the appropriate locations for building two field hospitals to provide upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud medical and humanitarian services for the victims of floods in Pakistan. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir said the two mobile hospitals are scheduled to reach here tomorrow aboard nine Saudi cargo planes, prior to be stationed in flood-stricken areas in Pakistan. Following the installation of the medical facilities, more than 250 doctors and technicians are expected to come from Saudi Arabia to provide diversified medical services around the clock, he added.
