The Pakistani ambassador to the Kingdom Omer Khan Ali Shirazi today expressed thanks of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the popular campaign he has ordered for assisting the people of flood-stricken areas in Pakistan. In a statement, carried by Pakistani government-run News Agency, the ambassador said the Saudi leadership always stands by the side of Pakistan during difficult times, noting that the donations made by the Saudi leadership, royal family, and Saudi people would no doubt contribute to the alleviation of the sufferings of victims. He also lauded the efforts exerted by the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir for the help of floods of Pakistan's victims.
