Nadwah newspaper said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been seeking for international movement for just and comprehensive peace to regain all usurped rights to their owners, including the rights of Palestinians to establish their independent state on their national soil with Al-Quds as its capital . The paper said that the Kingdom's welcome of the Quartet statement on the resumption of direct negotiations between Israel and Palestinians should give an impetus to the Quartet to perform its tasks to give the rights of the Palestinian people and to curb the arrogance of Israel. On Iraqi affairs, Al-Madinah newspaper said that the bloody attacks in Iraq on Wednesday which resulted in killing 41 people and wounding at least two hundred others, more than half of them from Iraqi police, coincided with the withdrawal of American forces while keeping about 50 thousand U.S. troops who would be withdrawn at the end of next year. The paper attributed the return of atmosphere of violence in Iraq to the political vacuum created by the delay in forming a new government after elections last March , as well as a military vacuum resulted in the withdrawal of American forces.
