The 15th annual conference of Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), will begin tomorrow under the theme of "Education and the Requirements of the GCC Labor Market". The three-day conference is to be held under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and President of the ECSSR. There will be six sessions and nearly 18 presentations covering the conference topics, which include: Education Output and the Current Predicament; Towards an Education that Realizes the Requirements of the Labor Market -The Road Map; The Current Labor Market Situation in the GCC Countries; Obstacles Facing the Labor Market in the GCC Countries; Available Solutions for Aligning Education Output with the Labor Market; and The Future of the Labor Market. Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Director General of ECSSR said that the center has prepared research supplies to a number of GCC ministers, researchers and academics to provide the relevant scientific research and education outputs related to labor market needs in the member countries of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM".
