The UAE position vis-a-vis the Palestinian question has always been firm and clear, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has said, according to WAM. In remarks shortly after inaugurating an art exhibition, Sheikh Nahyan said the UAE had spared no efforts to ameliorate the suffering of the Palestinian people through varied and sustained humanitarian projects. Sheikh Nahyan lamented the current tragic conditions in Gaza, noting that the scale of the tragedy requires concerted efforts; particularly in view of the fact that Israel is deliberately bent on destroying the Gaza infrastructure.
