Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Saud, the Minister of Education, has underscored the importance of the national day, and said it is the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom under the leadership of King Abdulaziz. In a statement on the occasion of the national day, he said following the unification, the Kingdom has been witnessing great development achievements at all domains. Prince Faisal underlined the significant role being played by the educational sector in the service of the society. By thanking Almighty Allah, bounties perpetuate, he said. He noted that there are about 500,000 teachers in the Kingdom who have been positively contributing to the process of the national development.
