Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, patronized here on Tuesday evening the ceremony organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry to mark the 50th anniversary of its establishment. On arrival at the venue, Prince Salman was welcomed by Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Zainal Ali Rida and Chairman and members of the Chamber's Board of Directors. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Salman highlighted the big strides made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various domains, notably in the economic domain. He noted that economic activity in the Kingdom is based on free enterprise in the light of the Islamic teachings. Prince Salman highlighted the existing cooperation between the private and public sectors. He thanked Allah Almighty for the bounties bestowed on the Kingdom since its unification under the leadership of King Abdulaziz. Prince Salman said Riyadh - the capital is open for all, reiterating his readiness to meet with members of the Chamber to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. --MORE
