Yemeni Minister of Water and Environment Abdulrahman Al-Eryani and Leader of Water Sources and Disasters Prevention Team at the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Shinichi Masuda, signed here on Tuesday a draft agreement for 19 water projects financed by the Japanese government, "SABA" news agency reported. The water projects, which would cost about $16 million within the general Japanese grant with contribution of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects, are to be carried out in the rural areas in governorates of Sana'a, Taiz, Dhamar, Mahweet, and Ibb.
