SPA--Ministry of Education and Japanese donors co-chaired by deputy minister of education Mohammed Hadi Tawaf and Director of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) office in Sana'a over a educational program carried by Bridge Project in Taiz governorate, Saba reported. Tawaf pointed out to the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation between Yemen and Japan in education, affirming continuing support of the ministry for the Japanese agency to implement its educational programs in Yemen. Director of education office in Taiz governorate Mahdi Abdul-Salam highlighted achievements of Bridge project in the governorate which targeted 59 schools in six districts. He said that the project has plan to extend its activities to reach other districts in coming four years.
