An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale rocked North Pagai in Mentawai islands, West Sumatra province, early Sunday, according to ANTARA. The epicenter of the quake which stuck at 02.35 a.m. on Sunday was in the sea about 206 km southwest of North Pagai at a depth of 45 km beneath the sea level, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said in its official website. But the trembler did not have the potential to cause a tsunami, the agency said. There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage.
