An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale rattled North Sumatra province on Sunday but there was no immediate report of casualties, ANTARA reported. The epicenter of the quake which struck at 2.20 p.m. was in the sea 139 km southwest of Gunungsitoli, North Sumatra, at a depth of 86 km, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said. The quake was felt by people living as far away as Bengkulu province but at a low intensity, the agency said.
