Saudi Geological Survey said that National Networks for Seismic Monitoring recorded 8 new earthquakes in Harat Al-Shaqah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, measuring between 3.1 and 4.2 on the Richter scale, at a depth between 8.3 and 11.5 k.m., as well as dozens of weak aftershocks measuring less than 3 degrees on the Richter scale over the last 24 hours. In a statement issued today, the Survey pointed out that rates of all changes in terms of thermal measurements, concentrations of radon gas, carbon dioxide, and the widening cracks in the ground have been satisfactory.
