The Saudi Geological Survey said that National Networks for Seismic Monitoring recorded a new earthquake in Harrat Al-Shaqah, measuring 3.3 at a depth of 9.01 km, as well as various weak aftershocks measuring less than 3 degrees on the Richter scale over the last 24 hours. In a statement issued Wednesday, the SGS pointed out that rates of all changes in terms of thermal measurements, concentrations of radon gas, carbon dioxide, and the widening cracks in the ground have been satisfactory.
