Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Water and Electricity Dr. Saleh Bin Hussein Alawajy will open here on Sunday the Saudi Electricity, Air-Conditioning and Lighting Expo-2009. The Expo includes three concurrent exhibitions of electrical engineering and power generation and distribution; air conditioning, ventilation and cooling, and lighting equipment. It is being organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. It will be held at Riyadh International Exhibition Center on King Abdullah Road. The Deputy Director-General of the Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Husseini said that the exhibition is a great investment opportunity in the Saudi market which is the largest in the region for the electricity and air conditioning products, lighting, indicating that the potential of this market is up to SR two billion a year. As many as 250 exhibitors from 12 countries will take part in the exhibitions.
