Saudi Elenex 2010, the four-in-one event that concluded at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on Thursday was a big hit with over 20,000 visitors visited the show. The exhibition was organized under the patronage of Ministry of Water and Electricity. More than 126 national, regional and international exhibitors from 14 countries have participated in the four-day exhibition. Riyadh Exhibition Company (REC), organizer of the exhibition, said in a statement that the business-to-business event generated some billions of riyals worth new projects and business deals. Saudi Elenex was held concurrently with Saudi Luminex 2010 - the 10th International Lighting Equipment Show, Saudi Aircon 2010 - the 11th International Exhibition on Air-Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration, and Saudi Water Technology 2010 - the 8th International Exhibition for Water Technology, Desalination Plants and Accessories Show. Jerry Han, CEO, Interfairs Company Ltd., organizer of the Korean pavilion at Saudi Elenex 2010, said the nine Korean companies that participated in the event were overwhelmed with the huge number of business-to-business represented that visited the show. “This is our second participation in Saudi Elenex since 2001 and our nine participating companies are satisfied with the show's growth and high market potential as reflected in the response we received in terms of business deals and sales opportunities,” Han said. He said he would recommend the Korean companies to participate in the national participation planned for similar event next year. “We look forward to bring more successful Korean companies on board to explore business opportunities in the lucrative Saudi market.” David Wang, general manager, Massbetter, organizer of Chinese pavilion at Saudi Elenex 2010 said about 15 leading Chinese companies participated in the show and expressed satisfaction over the number of visitors and business deals reached during event. “Our participation in Saudi Elenex with 15 leading companies was very successful. In terms of business deals, the show offered us a platform to meet with potential Saudi customers and partners,” he said.
