Saudi Geological Survey organizes World Geological Meeting

Saudi Geological Survey is hosting the World 8th Geological Meeting on Monday.
The meeting, held in cooperation with a number of bodies including the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, King Abdulaziz University and Saudi Society of Geological Sciences, will discuss a number of geological-related research papers conducted by scientists from over 17 countries worldwide.
The meeting will also include field trips to a number of geological sites with the aim of conducting studies on the volcanic activity, underground water presence as well as seismic activity in the Kingdom.
