The term of office for the officer of lieutenant general rank shall be four years, renewable for up to four more years upon an order of the Supreme Commander of all military forces and in accordance with the proposal of the Prime Minister and a recommendation of the minister. " - The words "Upon an order of the Supreme Commander of all military forces" shall replace "A decision of the Supreme Commander of the armed forces" wherever it appears in the system of service officers. -Amendment of paragraph (h) of Article (18) of the system of service officers to read as follows: "At least four years at the rank of Major General for promotion to the rank of lieutenant general." --More
