An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted West Nusatenggara province before dawn on Monday but there was no immediate report of casualty, ANTARA reported. The epicenter of the quake which struck at 03.54 a.m. was in the sea about 91 km from Raba in West Nusatenggara at a depth of 10 km, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said on Monday. The trembler could be felt by people living in Dompu and Waingapu districts, the agency said.
