US dollar mixed, gold down in European morning trading

The U.S. dollar was mixed against other
major currencies in European trading Tuesday morning. Gold
fell.
The euro traded at US$1.5771, down from US$1.5775 late
Monday in New York.

_1.0168 Canadian dollars, up from 1.0108
The British pound was quoted at US$1.9974, up from
$1.9930.
Gold traded in London at US$929.50 per troy ounce, down
from US$932.75 late Monday.
