At the outset of the ceremony, in a speech, Dr. Al-Othaimeen praised the achievements of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, noting that the needy people, orphans and the disabled are on top of his first concerns. He also lauded the efforts of Al-Akkas which reflect the attention of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in taking care of the needy people sponsored by the Ministry. Then, Al-Akkas delivered a speech in which he thanked the leadership for honoring him with public service and for approval of his request to be relieved of his post.
