US dollar mixed, gold down in London

The U.S. dollar was mixed against other
major currencies in European trading Friday. Gold fell.
The euro traded at US$1.5819, down from US$1.5912 late
Thursday in New York, according to AP.

The British pound was quoted at US$1.9714, down from
$1.9843
Gold traded in London at US$922.80 a troy ounce, down from
US$926.50 late Thursday.
Gold traded in Zurich at US$918.10 a troy ounce, down from
US$925.60.
Silver traded at $17.56, down from 17.91.
