Gold in London was trading at US$420.65 bid per troy ounce, up from US$419.50 late Tuesday. In Zurich the bid price was US$420.40, up from US$419.50. Gold rose 60 U.S. cents in Hong Kong to close at US$420.95. Silver traded in London at US$6.96 bid per troy ounce, up from US$6.95.
