The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has given his approval to convene a seminar under the title of "The Holy Quran and the contemporary technologies". The seminar will be organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, represented by the Madinah-based King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex. This was announced by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Salih Al Al-Shaikh. He noted that this seminar is a follow up to a series of four seminars which had been organized earlier under the auspices of the complex. Al Al-Shaikh said "the Complex publishes the meanings of the Holy Quran in more than 60 languages in addition to organizing seminars on the Holy Quran and its sciences as well as on the Sunnah (the Prophet's teachings)." He said a number of Muslim scholars and researchers who are concerned with the Holy Quran and the information technology from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad will participate in the seminar. --MORE
