Police kill 3 rebels in Indian Kashmir

Police killed three militants during a shootout in the Indian-controlled
portion of Kashmir on Thursday, a senior officer said, according to AP.
The gunfight occurred in Doda district, about 160
kilometers (100 miles) north of Jammu, the winter capital
of Jammu-Kashmir State, said police officer Manohar Singh.
