Soldiers clashed with infiltrators in Kashmir on Wednesday, leaving three of them dead, the army said. Indian troops saw them enter the forested, mountainous terrain and opened fire, leading to a gunbattle, which was continuing Wednesday afternoon, an officer in the army's media center in Jammu told The Associated Press. He said the battle was taking place in the Keri sector of Rajouri district, 180 kilometers (112 miles) northwest of Jammu, the winter capital of India's Jammu-Kashmir state.
