The United States and Pakistan have signed a $ 62.7 million agreement to improve primary and higher education in Pakistan, according to an official statement. The bilateral agreement was signed at the Federal Government Girls Middle School, National Health Colony Chak Shahzad near Islamabad by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Director Jonathan Addleton. Khalid Saeed, Secretary of Economic Affairs Division, had previously signed the agreement. U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Ryan C. Crocker and Sajid Hassan, Secretary, Ministry of Education, witnessed the signing.
