SPA - Pakistan and Germany have inked an agreement under which Germany will provide to Pakistan a Euro 35 million loan on easy terms under bilateral development cooperation, according to an official statement. The agreement has been signed in accordance with last December's accord during the Pak-German annual bilateral talks, when Germany had pledged to provide financial assistance of Euro 34.556 to Islamabad. Pakistan Economic Affairs Division Secretary Khalid Saeed and German Ambassador in Pakistan, Christoph Brummer singed the agreement. The loan carries 0.75 percent interest and would be payable in 40 years.
