Eid Al-Adha prayers were performed in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning. In Makkah, citizens and pilgrims performed prayers in the Grand Mosque. The prayer was led by the Grand Mosque's Imam and Speaker Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais. In his sermon, Sheikh Al-Sudais called for adherence to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah (Tradition). He noted that Islam stressed moderation and mercy for all mankind. Sheikh Al-Sudais pointed out that deviation of thoughts has been among the most dangerous issue that has afflicted the Muslim nation, calling for the correction of these concepts. He affirmed that Islam has nothing to do with the dangerous phenomenon of terrorism.
