Pakistan-Nepal Foreign Secretary level annual bilateral consultations have been held in Islamabad, an official statement said today. Nepalese Foreign Secretary Madhu Raman Acharya led his country's delegation in talks with Pakistani side led by Foreign Secretary Riaz H. Khokhar. The two sides reviewed the whole gamut of relations in the bilateral as well as regional arenas and expressed satisfaction over their friendly and close cooperative ties. The Pakistan side announced that with effect from 1st August 2004, on a reciprocal basis, Pakistan would waive off visa fee for the Nepalese tourists and students. The two sides emphasized the need for holding at an early date the fifth session of the Pakistan-Nepal Joint Economic commission at Kathmandu.
