Indian foreign minister S M Krishna arrived in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu Friday at the start of a three-day official visit, dpa reported. Krishna said the visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighbors. "I think Indian foreign policy attaches high priority to relations with Nepal," Krishna said. "The talks with Nepalese leaders will further the bilateral and friendly relations we have." During his stay in Nepal, the two countries were expected to sign five separate agreements, including deals on road construction and rural electrification. He is scheduled to meet the President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and other political leaders during his stay.
