The Second round of Pak-US Strategic Dialogue to promote bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various fields including education and energy will start in Islamabad on Wednesday (September 12), officials said. Foreign Secretary Riaz Muhammad Khan would lead the Pakistan side while the American side would be led by US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte. The Dialogue's discussions would focus on economic cooperation, education, security, counter terrorism and social sectors including energy sector. The two sides would also exchange views on Reconstruction Opportunities Zones in Pakistan's tribal areas to be established with American assistance.
