King Abdullah called for rain-seeking prayer Monday

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers all over the Kingdom on Monday December 5, 2005 corresponding to Zul-Qaeda 3, 1426 H. as rain season has delayed, a statement issued by the Royal court said here today.
The statement urged Muslims in the Kingdom to take part in the prayers usually performed early morning during such drought circumstances according to the instructions of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) .
