US dollar mostly higher, gold up in European trading

The U.S. dollar rose against most other
major currencies in European trading Monday. Gold also
rose, according to AP.
The euro traded at US$1.4658, down from US$1.4753 late
Friday in New York.

The British pound was quoted at US$2.0657, up from

Gold traded in London at US$786.95 per troy ounce, up from
US$782.50 late Friday.
In Zurich, gold traded at US$785.20 bid per troy ounce, up
from US$780.60.
Silver traded in London at US$14.13, up from US$13.91.
