Israeli President Moshe Katzav is to arrive in Spain Monday on a visit to mark 20 years of diplomatic relations, during which he will visit three Spanish cities and have talks with King Juan Carlos and Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. Katsav is expected to arrive at 1030 a.m (0830 GMT) and will be received with military honors by Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, a former European Union envoy in the Middle East. Later Monday he is scheduled to have lunch with King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia and travel to Toledo _ a city where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together some 500 years ago. During his four-day visit, he will also receive a medal at Madrid's city hall, meet with Zapatero and travel to the southern city of Cordoba, another historical venue where Jews, Muslims and Christians once lived in harmony. Israel and Spain established diplomatic relations in 1986 with a joint Spanish-Israeli statement issued in the Dutch capital, The Hague, according to a report of the Associated Press.
