Secretary General of the Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsan Oglu has reiterated that the fundamental reform of the OIC occupies first priority of his agenda. Speaking before a group of senior officials from different Islamic countries who have started here yesterday a preparatory meeting for the 32nd Foreign Ministers Conference of the member states of the organization scheduled for Sanaa, Yemen, late June 2005, Oghli disclosed that he has already commenced an internal reform process of the organization's secretariat general aiming at improving the performance, developing the capabilities and scoring maximum use of the available human skills. He expressed hope that the OIC foreign ministers forthcoming conference would usher in a new era of a joint Islamic action.
